The Staleks Pro Combo UNIQ 14 (PQ-14) is an elite professional replaceable attachment engineered to deliver unmatched precision during the cleaning phase of hygienic, hardware, or combined manicures and pedicures. Functioning as a high-performance "blade," its meticulously calculated geometry allows technicians to easily scrape away stubborn pterygium and tightly bound dead cuticle skin from the nail surface without scratching or damaging the natural nail plate. It is also exceptionally efficient at cutting dust and debris out of tight lateral folds. Made from premium medical-grade AISI 420 stainless steel, the working part features high-precision external threads that twist smoothly and tightly into any UNIQ series handle, ensuring a perfectly rigid, single-piece tool feel. It undergoes expert manual sharpening, providing excellent cutting/scraping control, and is highly polished for superior resistance to corrosion and structural wear in professional environments.
Assembly: Select your Staleks UNIQ 10 or UNIQ 10B modular handle. Screw the UNIQ 13 Cleaner tip firmly into one of the threaded ends until it is completely tight and secure. Pair it with another favorite tip on the opposite side if desired.
Nail Plate Cleaning: Hold the assembled tool at a shallow angle relative to the nail plate. Using gentle, smooth motions, glide the cleaner across the surface to lift and remove the pterygium and loose skin flakes.
Lateral Fold Prep: Carefully guide the tip into the lateral folds and under the cuticle pocket to sweep out hidden debris, dust, and dried skin buildup.
Disinfection: After finishing the service, wipe off skin debris. Soak the entire tool (it can remain fully assembled) in professional disinfectant solutions according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Sterilization: The stainless steel working part is completely safe for professional sterilization. Place it in a sterilization pouch and process it inside a dry-heat oven or an autoclave. Store with care to protect the sharp edges.
