The Staleks Pro Combo UNIQ 17 (WPPQ-17) is an elite professional replaceable attachment designed specifically as a rounded, wide cuticle pusher to deliver maximum efficiency and comfort on larger surfaces. This working part is engineered for clients with medium, wide, or large nail plates, allowing technicians to cover more area in a single, smooth stroke. The broad, rounded arc effortlessly mirrors the natural curvature of the proximal nail fold, providing a uniform distribution of pressure to gently push back and lift the cuticle tape without digging into the nail matrix or scratching the plate. Forged from high-grade medical AISI 420 stainless steel, the tip features robust external threads that screw tightly into any UNIQ series modular handle, eliminating vibrations or structural looseness. Expertly manually sharpened and mirror-polished, it ensures precise, snag-free movement and premium resistance to chemical corrosion in professional salons.
Assembly: Take your Staleks UNIQ 10 or UNIQ 10B modular handle. Screw the UNIQ 17 Rounded Wide Pusher tip (PQ-17/1) firmly into one of the threaded ends until it is completely tight.
Cuticle Preparation: Apply a professional cuticle remover if needed, or perform a dry-prep style technique. Place the flat, hollowed side of the wide rounded pusher flat against the natural nail plate.
Lifting the Pocket: Gently and smoothly slide the pusher toward the proximal fold at a shallow angle. Use light, rhythmic pushes to separate the stuck cuticle from the nail plate and lift it up to open the cuticle pocket across the wide base of the nail.
Disinfection: After finishing the manicure or pedicure, clean off skin dust and debris. Soak the assembled tool in professional disinfectant solutions following the manufacturer's precise time guidelines.
Sterilization: This stainless steel module is fully qualified for high-temperature treatment. Place the tool in a pouch and sterilize inside a dry-heat oven or an autoclave.
