The standout feature is the integrated Class 4 multi-variable indicator printed directly on each pouch, which accurately monitors both critical parameters: exposure temperature and time. The chemical indicator transitions to a distinct target color only when perfect sterilization conditions are met, eliminating guesswork. Outfitted with a secure, wide self-adhesive sealing strip, they lock out environmental contaminants post-cycle, keeping your precision instruments, nail clippers, and rotary cutters perfectly sterile and client-ready for up to 50 days.
Instrument Prep: Thoroughly clean, disinfect (using solutions like PROSEPT Fortis), rinse, and completely dry all precision tools before pouching. Instruments must be 100% dry to prevent any moisture spotting during hot air processing.
Pouch Loading: Place the clean instruments into the pouch with the sharp tips facing away from the sealing edge. Do not overfill the pouch to ensure proper air/steam circulation.
Hermetic Sealing: Peel off the protective backing from the self-adhesive strip, fold carefully along the perforated line, and press firmly from the center outward to create a tight, wrinkle-free seal.
Sterilization Cycle: Arrange the loaded pouches inside your dry heat sterilizer or autoclave tray, ensuring they do not overlap tightly. Run your professional sterilization cycle according to equipment guidelines (e.g., 180°C for 60 minutes in dry heat).
Verification & Storage: After the cycle completes and the chamber cools down, remove the pouches. Verify that the Class 4 indicator has completely shifted to the correct dark control color. Store the intact pouches in a clean, dry, dust-free cabinet until client arrival.
