PROSEPT Fortis is an elite, medical-grade concentrated solution specifically engineered for the simultaneous high-level disinfection and deep cleaning of delicate rotary precision instruments, including steel burrs, diamond cutters, carbide instruments, polishers, and root canal tools. This advanced formulation delivers exceptional high-speed performance, achieving comprehensive bactericidal, antibiotic-resistant bacterial, tuberculocidal, mycobactericidal, yeasticidal, and antibiotic-resistant yeast eradication at a 3% concentration in just 5 minutes.
Furthermore, its powerful antiviral matrix neutralizes enveloped viruses (including Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus, Coronavirus, Hepatitis B & C, Herpes simplex, HIV, Influenza A, and Vaccinia virus) within the same rapid 5-minute window. For full-spectrum virucidal security, it inactivates Adenovirus and Norovirus in 10 minutes, and reaches absolute virucidal status by neutralizing Poliovirus in 15 minutes. Formulated with specialized structural corrosion inhibitors, this aldehyde-free concentrate forms an invisible protective shield over metal parts, preventing rust and bluntness. Its powerful enzymatic action rapidly dissolves organic residues, skin oils, and nail debris, optimizing salon workflow while significantly extending the operational lifespan of high-value equipment.
Preparation of the 3% Solution: Wear professional protective gloves. To prepare the solution, mix the concentrate with water to achieve a 3% dilution ratio inside a dedicated instrument disinfection bath.
Submersion: Completely submerge all used rotary instruments into the prepared 3% solution immediately after use. Ensure all items are fully covered by the fluid with zero air pockets.
Exposure Time Control: Leave the instruments to soak according to the targeted pathogen profile:
- 5 Minutes: Complete eradication of bacteria (including antibiotic-resistant strains), mycobacteria, fungi/yeasts, and enveloped viruses (HIV, HBV, HCV, Coronavirus, etc.).
- 10 Minutes: Target neutralization of Adenovirus and Norovirus.
- 15 Minutes: Full virucidal exposure (including Poliovirus) for absolute sterilization prep.
- Do not exceed the recommended soaking limits to preserve instrument coatings.
Ultrasonic Cleaning (Optional): This product can be safely utilized inside ultrasonic cleaning units at a 3% concentration, accelerating dirt breakdown and enhancing time management.
Rinsing & Drying: After the disinfection time expires, remove the instruments and rinse them thoroughly with running water (demineralized water is highly recommended). Dry them completely using clean, lint-free paper wipes or compressed air before proceeding to final storage or sterilization.
