DARK Medium Gel (30ml) is an advanced, professional-grade liquid builder gel engineered to combine the uncompromising strength of a hard gel with the effortless application of a fluid base. Featuring a perfectly balanced, medium-viscosity consistency, this gel glides smoothly across the nail canvas and self-levels almost instantly, allowing the technician to build an ideal apex and correct surface defects with minimal to zero filing. Formulated specifically for reinforcing natural nails, executing salon-length extensions, and repairing minor cracks, it cures into a rock-hard protective layer that completely prevents bending, pocket lifts, and side-wall fracturing. Its highly stable and pigment-rich formula is designed to withstand daily physical wear, ensuring a pristine, architecturally sound manicure that stays flawlessly intact for up to 4 weeks.
Preparation: Standardly prepare the nail plate (sanitize, push cuticles, buff away the shine, and shape the edge). Apply Dehydrator and a thin layer of Acid-Free Primer.
Substrate (Mandatory): Apply a thin rubbing layer of a flexible clear rubber base coat across the entire nail plate to ensure absolute adhesion. Cure for 60 seconds.
Contact Layer: Apply a thin, slick layer of DARK Medium Gel over the nail without curing it—this helps guide the subsequent leveling drop.
Architectural Reinforcement: Place a medium drop of Medium Gel onto the wet contact layer, guide it gently using a fine liner brush to build the apex and side-wall structure, and allow it to self-level.
Curing: Cure under a professional UV/LED lamp for 60–90 seconds. If working with a thicker reinforcement layer, the client can use the low-heat mode on the lamp to eliminate heat spikes.
Finishing & Filing: Wipe away the sticky inhibition layer with a gel cleanser. If needed, minimally refine the shape with a 180-grit file. Seal the design with your preferred DARK Top Coat and cure for 60 seconds.
