Luna Moon Acid Primer (13 ml) is a professional-grade preparation fluid essential for deep degreasing and disinfecting the natural nail plate prior to artificial enhancements. Primarily used in gel and acrylic systems, this methacrylic acid-based formula acts like a powerful priming coat that lifts the nail scales to create a superior bond between the natural tissue and the synthetic material. It ensures maximum durability, completely prevents lifting, and exhibits anti-fungal properties to stop the growth of pathogenic flora under the extensions. It is highly recommended for clients with hyperhidrosis (sweaty hands) or overall problematic adhesion.
Preparation: Complete a hygienic manicure, lightly buff the nail plate to lift the scales (using a 220-grit file or 100-grit buffer), and remove all dust.
Degreasing: Thoroughly clean the nail with Luna Moon Nail Prep fluid.
Application Tip: Before applying, blot the primer brush against a lint-free wipe to remove excess liquid. Excessive amounts can lead to reverse lifting or skin contact.
Application: Apply a very small, thin layer of Acid Primer across the entire nail plate, taking extreme care to avoid the cuticles and lateral sidewalls.
Drying: Let it air dry completely for 1 minute. The product will evaporate and look chalky/matte. Do not cure in a lamp. Proceed immediately with your base layer.
