LUNAmoon Fix Base is an updated version of the brand's legendary base coat, designed for both professional and home use. It features a medium-liquid consistency that self-levels quickly, making it ideal for creating a smooth foundation on natural nails. Its elastic formula (pH 3–4) ensures strong adhesion, prevents chipping and peeling, and is perfect for use as a substrate under hard gels, acrylic gels, and color bases. It is hypoallergenic, TPO-free, and has a neutral odor.
Preparation: Clean the nail plate. Do not file the final shape yet (or leave 2mm extra). Buff with a 220-grit file or 100-grit buffer.
Degreasing: Use LUNAmoon Nail Prep in two passes. Apply a dehydrator.
Application: Apply a thin layer of Fix Base using rubbing motions with a flat brush.
Curing: Polymerize in an original LED/UV lamp (36–48W) for 60 seconds.
Finish: Wipe off the sticky layer if moving to shaping, or proceed directly to color/leveling layers. Final nail shaping is recommended after leveling for better edge durability.
